Within the framework of the EFC project “Educating Future Citizens” (Project Code: SSU2024-00002; CUP UNICAM J17G24000290007), the University of Camerino (UNICAM) offers an advanced training course entitled “Introduction to Density Functional Theory: Principles and Practice”. The course is open to participants from across the project network and beyond, in order to emphasise the international and cooperative dimension of the initiative.

The lessons will be held in English in blended mode (in person at UNICAM in Camerino and online) between April and May 2026. Classes usually take place on Thursday afternoons, Fridays, and Monday mornings. The course will be taught by Dr Fabio Finocchi. Teaching materials will be provided at a later stage; the programme is available below. Participants are required to have access to a personal laptop and an internet connection. The final assessment will consist of a written report.

Registration must be completed by 26 March 2026, unless the deadline is extended. Enrolment is limited to a maximum of 30 participants, provisionally divided equally between in-person attendance in Camerino and online participation. Applications will be considered in the order in which the registration form is received, provided that applicants meet the admission requirements.
